Commercial due diligence has been provided to both public and venture capital funded programmes. This typically involves an assessment of a business proposal or product development plan to determine the viability of the potential investment. Work is usually undertaken using one of the following approaches;
- Working directly with the proposing team to assess the project. This would comprise a combination of interviews and an assessment of their supporting documentation, typically a business and market validation.
- A remote assessment based on supporting documentation alone.
The outcome is usually a recommendation on the project’s suitability for investment, either using a pro-forma report supplied by the client or one developed for the client by Team Services. Examples of this type of pro-forma are available on request.
